What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rounds Chef position at Port City Air Inc?
Great Circle Catering (GCC) is the Seacoast area's premier full-service caterer. GCC operates as a commissary kitchen for corporate catering, social events, food trucks, kiosks, general aviation and military troop flights. We are currently hiring for a full-time Rounds Chef for our growing company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute food preparation, presentation and culinary activities
- Participate in military troop production builds
- Catering, special event and banquet production
- Execute existing menus and event orders to a high standard of quality
- Perform moderate administrative duties
- Comply with all applicable sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Communication with the Kitchen Manager, Managing Director & Director of Operations
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Verifiable work experience
- Attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- ServeSafe Certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
