Job Title: Office Manager

Department: Administration

Reports To: Human Resources Director

FLSA Status: Full-time, Non-exempt

Salary: $48,500-72,500 per year

Expected Schedule: 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday

Overview: The Office Manager provides high-level administrative support to the executive staff, ensuring the efficient operation of the office and the smooth execution of day-to-day administrative functions. This position serves as a key point of coordination across departments, managing schedules, preparing correspondence and reports, supporting meetings and events, and overseeing general office operations. The Office Manager plays a vital role in maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and organizational effectiveness while anticipating the needs of executive leadership.


Education and Experience:

Required

  • High School diploma, or GED equivalency.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in administrative or clerical field.

Preferred

  • Employment experience in a government entity.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Spanish language fluency.
  • Associate degree in an administrative, government, or related field.


Licenses, Certifications & Other Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years old.
  • Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
  • Possess a valid Washington state driver’s license, or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
  • Meet the minimum Motor Vehicle Standards of Port’s auto insurance carrier.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and medical examination.
  • Must be able to pass background check.


Benefits:

For all full-time employees, the Port of Pasco provides the following benefits for the 2025 year: 100% employer paid medical, dental, vision- for the employee and family, and employee long-term disability and life insurance, provided through the AWC Employee Benefits Trust. Participation in the Washington State Department of Retirement Systems, PERS, as determined by employee eligibility.

Optional (employee elected) benefits include up to 4% match for the Deferred Compensation Program as provided by the Washington State Department of Retirement Systems- based on the employee’s contribution, FSA, and supplemental insurance. Full-time employees receive 22 days of PTO per year, and 12 paid holidays.
