What are the responsibilities and job description for the 25 hrs/week Security Officer Needed (ROCKY HILL, CT) position at Port Security Services?
***MUST HAVE VALID GUARD CARD and DRIVER'S LICENSE WHEN APPLYING***
***MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE ONBOARDING AND PRE-EMPLOYMENT TRAINING WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM THE START DATE*** (ALL TRAINING paid at state minimum and paid after 1st week of employment)
***Looking for a responsible 25 hours per week (4pm-9pm, Monday-Friday) security officer to cover a fixed post.
PAID PRE-EMPLOYMENT TRAINING AFTER 1ST WEEK OF WORK (paid monthly training required)
HOLIDAYS PAID AT TIME AND HALF RATES (mandatory for new hires)
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Possess VALID Security Officer License
- Have a VALID Driver’s License
- PAID PRE-EMPLOYMENT TRAINING AFTER 1ST WEEK OF WORK (also paid monthly training required)
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience - Higher Education is a plus
- Have reliable transportation
- Be able to pass a Drug Test and Background Check
- Be fluent in English (read, write and speak)
- Have basic computer knowledge
