Job Summary

 

Location: Clackamas, OR

Schedule: Monday – Friday 2pm – 10:30pm 

Starting wage: 21.00/hour, more for experienced leads

Monthly bonuses equivalent of up to 6% of wages

 

The Warehouse Lead is a working lead role, while also responsible for leading the team in accurately entering all required shipping and receiving information into the systems. The Warehouse Lead will oversee a team to ensure accuracy and proper movement of products and documentation to support production, quality, and our customers. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provides leadership by demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety-conscious behaviors.
  • Assists with leading the warehouse team to meet schedules and deadlines, achieving daily standards
  • Ensures quality, accuracy, and speed of unloading and storing of all incoming loads and pulling and loading of all outgoing shipments
  • Assists with all processes, equipment, safety, and housekeeping of the warehouse
  • Prepare and load material for shipping
  • Receive and unload incoming materials
  • Transfers all product from the dock staging locations into the trucks. 
  • Maintains accurate records, ensuring paperwork is filed and organized. 
  • Organize warehouse space to maximize efficiency, ensuring the facility is always clean. 
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of all systems, processes and equipment used in the warehouse.
  • Assist in the training and development of warehouse employees, train and certify associates to use material handling and warehouse related equipment (scanners, forklift, pallet jacks, scissor lift). 
  • Assists with ensuring that established policies, rules and regulations, and procedures are followed with an emphasis on safety, organization and efficiency, serves on safety committee. 
  • Troubleshoots problems and escalates issues appropriately
  • Represents and promotes a positive image of the Company 
  • Assist inventory department in all aspects of counting and reconciliation
  • Stand in for the Supervisor during vacations and sickness as needed
  • Fill in for delivery drivers as required.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent (GED, etc) 
  • 2 years experience in a warehouse role
  • 1 year of experience with RF Scanning required
  • Strong decision making skills 
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate warehouse activities


Preferred Qualifications


  • Proficient to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft 
  • 1 year of experience with ERP, WMS, MRP required, Plex preferred
  • 2 years of experience with forklift operation, sit down single double model preferred
  • Proven interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated sense of accountability and follow through 
  • Good written skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated time management skills
