Job Description: *
This position is responsible for supporting the Director of Athletics in all administrative areas of the Athletics Department, from scheduling to equipment management to purchasing. This is a full-time, 12-month, position reporting to the Director of Athletics. This job may also require weekday evening work and occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities: *
- Manages all athletic social media accounts and game write-ups
- Assists Director of Athletics in game and practice scheduling for all teams
- Attends league meetings when necessary
- Coordinates all sports equipment and uniform distribution
- Manages transportation needs for all Athletics- away games, outside facilities, etc.
- Assists in the supervision and management of officials and assignors
- Assists in the supervision and evaluation of coaches and game workers
- Assists in Athletic Department purchasing needs
- Coordinates all Athletic Department student billing
- Assists in field and alternative preparation for games and practices
- Assists in the planning of all Athletic Department events including, but not limited to, Blue/White Day, Senior Recognition Nights, Signing Events and Athletics Awards ceremonies
- Teaches up to 2 sections of Physical Education
- Night and weekend work as assigned
- Game day and other student supervision as assigned
- Ability to coach as assigned
- Ability to chaperone as assigned
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: *
- BA or equivalent required in athletics and wellness field
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
- Athletics administration experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with students in an independent school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to comfortably, warmly and effectively engage with large and small groups of adults and/or students in professional or social settings
- Belief in the value of all types of diversity with a commitment to social justice and equity
- Anti-racism/anti-bias training preferred
