Job Description:
Portledge School seeks to hire a dynamic, Middle School Mathematics Teacher for the upcoming school year who is driven to create a classroom environment where student learning is a non-negotiable goal and passion is evident on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong mathematics instruction background with the flexibility to teach all courses from 6th-grade math to Algebra 1 Advanced. IB training and experience are a plus. Responsibilities will include teaching 5 sections of mathematics, serving as an advisor to assigned students, participating collegially in the department, division, and school-wide meetings, and taking an active role in the life of the school community.

Qualifications:
BA Degree minimum; advanced degree preferred in relevant area(s).
Teaching certification preferred.
