What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineer II position at Portola Hotel and Spa?
The Engineer II position is responsible for maintaining a working inventory of all parts needed for the department as well as maintaining tool inventory to include proper storage and training in their use. Must possess the ability to monitor and perform all preventive maintenance (P.M.) (equipment, rooms and public spaces) on an ongoing basis as required by hotels operating standards. Demonstrate knowledge of hotel and department safety procedures, equipment and protective clothing requirements to consistently ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees. Must be knowledgeable about all major and emergency equipment locations and their functions including, but not limited to, valves, electrical equipment, etc. Must maintain strict compliance to hotel Hazard Communications Program to include thorough knowledge of SDS, labeling, storing and handling of materials. Demonstrate consistent adherence to hotel key control policies and procedures as established by Company SOP. Professional Certifications preferred. Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
