What are the responsibilities and job description for the GSRP Associate Teacher position at Positive Start Child Development Center?
The goal of the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) teaching staff is to implement a team teaching model. In team teaching, each teaching staff person is fully engaged in planning curriculum, implementing curriculum both indoors and outdoors, child assessment, and supporting parent engagement through home visits, conferences, and parent meetings. The work is collaboratively shared with all teaching staff participating equally in planning activities, conducting and participating in children's activities. Class is held onsite in Childcare center; but Remote Learning may be necessary in certain situations. Knowledge of Creative Curriculum and experience working in a GSRP classroom is preferred.
Professional development training, fingerprint background check, CPR/1st Aid and TB testing required. Please attach a resume with all responses.
Minimum Qualifications Include:
An Associate's degree in early childhood education or higher, or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential specializing in Preschool.
Position is for the 2024/2025 school year (Oct 2024-June 2025). Hours/Days: Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
