Packaging Operator
Starting rate: $24.45 per hour
The Post Consumer Brands facility in Lawrence, KS operates on a 24/7 production schedule. Team members will work:
- C Shift: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and every other Friday 6:00am-6:00pm
- Shift premium: $1.00 per hour
Responsibilities
In the Packaging Operator role, you will:
- Operate and maintain packaging equipment to optimize efficiency and to reduce/eliminate downtime
- Perform reliability tests on equipment such as metal detectors and scales for food safety and quality assurance
- Perform accurate, timely collection of data and product samples
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and orderly work area to ensure employee and food safety
- Possess a high school diploma or a GED
- Ability to comply with a strict attendance policy
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability and willingness to communicate with cross functional teams
- Experience in food manufacturing preferred
