JOB SCOPE:
The Assistant Program Director is responsible for assisting the Program Director in all aspects of residential operations to ensure compliance with all regulatory agency requirements, as well as PCMH policies and procedures. Major areas of responsibility include ensuring quality case management and care for all residents, maintaining comprehensive case records, providing leadership and supervision of direct care staff, and responding to crises.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensures that residents follow appropriate psychiatric and medical plans; approves individual service plans as needed.
- Maintains case records in accordance with regulatory requirements; reviews individual case records and signs off as needed; approves admission and discharge summaries.
- Provides assistance to residents around all service delivery activities, as needed.
- Provides ongoing supervision to Residential Counselors and Front Desk Counselors, as needed.
- Maintains a small resident caseload, as needed.
- Conducts and participate in case conferences.
- Assists in scheduling and planning recreational and social activities.
- Reports all untoward incidents, and completes follow-up on incidents.
- Prepare written correspondence and notifications on resident related issues.
- Conducts internal audits of clinical case records and all other program documentation to ensure compliance with city, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintains productive working relationships with provider groups and referral sources.
- Adheres, and facilitates adherence of all staff, to personnel and residential policies and procedures as outlined in the PCMH Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual and the Residential Policies & Procedures Manual.
- Assists in the collection and submission of rental payments and receipts.
- Enforces terms and conditions outlined for residents in all Lease and Lease Riders.
- Where applicable, helps to ensure compliance with LIHTC regulatory requirements, including working with residents to obtain required documentation.
- Performs other duties, consistent with the goals and objectives of the program, as assigned by the Program Director, Regional Director, or Director of Residential Services.

- NYS OMH Licensed Housing Regulations, NYS OMH Supported Housing Guidelines, and/or NYC DOHMH Standards

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Master’s Degree in a Mental Health discipline or related field is preferred. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Mental Health discipline or related field with 3 years related experience.
Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and publishing software.
Salary : $32 - $35
