Early Childhood - 3 Year Old Teacher
Qualifications:
Must be Certified by the Oklahoma State Department of Education, in Early Childhood Education
The Early Childhood Teacher for a 3-year-old classroom is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports the social, emotional, physical, and academic growth of students.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily activities
- Creat a classroom environment that promotes exploration, curiosity and positive behavior
- Support children's social-emotional development, self-regulation, and early independence
- Establish consistent routines and classroom management strategies appropriate for 3-year-olds
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Communicate regularly and effectively with families regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities
- Collaborate daily with paraprofessionals and other school staff
- Maintain accurate records, lesson plans, and documentation as required by the district and state
- Engage in ongoing professional development
- Follow all district and site policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
