The Senior Project Manager provides overall administrative, technical, financial, and resource management of the project from initial bid preparation through completion. The Senior Project Manager is also responsible for delivering the project safely, in accordance with quality standards, on time, and within budget.

What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
- Lead pre-construction efforts in bid preparation, contract and exhibit review, and execution planning,
- Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
- Review cost reports and evaluate methods to reduce cost while maintaining productivity.
- Manage budget projection for labor, material, equipment, and subcontractors procured on the project.
- Responsible for project cost forecasting, monthly cost to complete development, and accuracy of reporting
- Responsible for productivity, efficient use of materials/equipment, and contractual performance of the project
- Assist with managing project costs to stay within forecasted budget range.
- Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, subcontractors, or engineers to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer.
- Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems.
- Execute corrective actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies.
What You'll Bring
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
- Ability to interpret and act on terms and conditions within contracts to protect company’s interest while maintaining good relationships
- Ability to write business correspondence and communicate effectively.
- Must be willing to travel, short-term.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other managers, clients, customers, and local permitting agencies.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite, with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s).
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
- High-voltage powerline industry experience or experience in heavy general/civil construction.
- Familiar with Primavera P6, JD Edwards, Hubble, EcoSys, Incorta, and B2W technology platforms.
Compensation Range
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $110,000.00/Yr. - USD $160,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.Equal Opportunity Employer
