What are the responsibilities and job description for the Applicant Pool - Counseling Intern (waitlist) position at Poudre School District?
To become a counseling intern in Poudre School District you must complete the Counseling Intern Application. This application is for the WAITLIST for fall 2023 placements. Priority will be given to those that completed applications prior to 4/15/23.
To be considered for a counseling intern placement in one of our schools you should:
be entering your final semester/year of a education preparation program
be able to pass a criminal background check, including submitting a complete set of fingerprints with the Colorado Department of Education/PSD
be enrolled in a college/university that has a signed internship agreement with PSD (see below)
Placements will be completed with the following criteria:
availability of qualified staff/educator(s) in requested areas
willingness of schools/staff to take an intern
outcome of internship interview between principal, counselor lead/supervisor, and prospective intern

University of Wyoming
