What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2025-2026 Substitute Teacher (Preschool, Kindergarten -12th Grade and School Counselors) position at Poway Unified School District?

- Applicants must hold a valid Teaching Credential: Multiple Subject, Single Subject, Education Specialist, or School Counseling Credential *
- Resume
- Three signed letters of recommendation dated within the past three years
- Unofficial copies of your transcripts
- CBEST test results (This is NOT a required attachment in your application, but if you have your results, please include them.)
- TB Test Results/X-ray Results (Risk assessments are not accepted for first-time employees) Please have the following second set of fingerprints completed before applying:
- DOJ Clearing House Fingerprints (needed for certificated employment with PUSD) 2. CREDENTIALS: Contact the San Diego County Office of Education for credential information. Candidates who need information can check online at http://www.sdcoe.net/human-resources/credentials or in person. 3. Complete fingerprint requirements. Fingerprinting - If you are applying for a California Credential, you must do the DUAL fingerprinting process. These fingerprints are also referred to as a Certificate of Clearance.
