We are looking for a Senior Accountant to perform day-to-day accounting and support activities that will facilitate the accurate and timely reporting of the monthly financial results, maintenance and reconciliation of customer and vendor accounts, and backup payroll processing. Minimum Requirements:
• 4-year Business, Finance, or Accounting Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
• 3 years accounting experience required
• Public accounting or manufacturing experience preferred
• Cost accounting experience preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepares month end reconciliations, financial reports, and account analysis
• Prepares weekly journal entries and general ledger transactions
• Reconcile accounts receivable for key customer accounts
• Post cash transactions for retail store locations
• Monitors daily banking transactions, prepares wire transfers and ACH transactions and prepares monthly bank reconciliations
• Supports accounts payable team and serves as backup for payroll processing
• Maintains the fixed asset listings
• Maintains, manages, and reconciles customer and vendor accounts
• Prepares ad-hoc analysis based on ERP data
• Maintains accounting master data
• Monitors and performs internal control processes and procedures
• Assists Accounting Leadership in reviewing, designing, documenting, and implementing changes to financial/business processes, transactions, and internal controls
• Assists with annual audit
• Other duties as assigned
