We are looking for a Field Service Coordinator to be the first point of contact for both internal and external customers, the Field Service Coordinator is responsible for directing and supervising the daily activities of the Field Service staff, with the goal of ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate completion of repair and maintenance work orders.

Essential Job Functions
- Ensures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures. Maintains a clean, organized work are free from Safety issues and concerns.
- Schedule all field service work and assign technicians to specific jobs.
- Oversee all work to ensure work is completed to customer’s satisfaction.
- Coordinate and work with customers to provide basic technical advice, evaluate and investigate problems/issues, advise customers of estimated repairs, costs and expected dispatch of technician.
- Invoice all work orders (internal & external), in a timely, profitable manner.
- Maintain and produce accurate records of discussion or correspondence with customers, vendors and associates.
- Assists in the management and oversight of all DOT requirements related to hours of service, qualifications, inspections, reporting and recordkeeping.
- Supports quality control and customer service objectives and goals
- Sees that field tickets and work orders are properly handled, that proper entries are made concerning time and overtime and that parts and equipment used are accounted for.
- Ensure company assets are maintained for optimum productivity and cost control, including primary service trucks, tools and supplies.
- Work closely with the Shop Supervisor to coordinate intra-department activities.
- Work closely with the Parts Department on delivery, pricing, and returns.
- Work closely with the Sales and Rental Department to provide technical and repair support.
- Oversite of will-call activities between service and parts.
- Yard daily oversight for organization, cleanliness and equipment status.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Associates degree from related Trade School in a Heavy Equipment or Diesel related program desired and 2 years of related experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience with Heavy Equipment in a Dispatch, coordination, scheduling and/or Field Service capacity required.
- Must have valid Driver’s License to operate company vehicles.
- Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software, Word, Spreadsheets, Teams, etc.
- Prior working knowledge of Field Service applications in a maintenance or field service capacity highly desired.
- Working knowledge of DOT requirements and recordkeeping highly desired
- Prior experience in a coordination capacity between site operations and customers required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and commitments and negotiate a win-win outcome.
- Prior experience coordinating both Shop and Field service priorities, high-volume, activities preferred.
