Power in Motion Gymnastics is growing and with that growth we are looking for enthusiastic, fun, caring, and eager to learn type of people who enjoy working with children!
We are looking for Preschool, Recreational and Competitive Team Coaches.
Background checks will be required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
- Teach gymnastics skills and techniques to students of various ages and skill levels
- Plan and lead gymnastics classes, ensuring a safe and engaging environment
- Provide individualized instruction and feedback to help students improve their skills
- Develop lesson plans and curriculum that align with the goals of the gymnastics program
- Monitor student progress and communicate with parents/guardians about their child's development
- Ensure proper equipment setup and maintenance for each class
- Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive and respectful learning environment
EXPERIENCE:
-Experience is preferred, but we believe that skills and technique can be learned, but the right personality and attitude towards coaching cannot be taught.
- Having previous experience working with students in a gymnastics or related field (e.g., martial arts, cheerleading, childcare) is a plus!
- Knowledge of gymnastics techniques, terminology, and safety guidelines
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and fellow coaches
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
-Experience in behavior management techniques to promote positive student behavior during classes
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $20.00 per hour
