Job Title: Data Quality Assurance Specialist

Role Summary
The Data Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that data is accurate, consistent, and reliable across all of the company’s core business systems. As the company scales, having timely, accurate data is critical to understanding performance and making informed decisions. The Data Quality Assurance Specialist ensures that data across the company’s systems is consistent, reliable, and available for real-time operational and financial analysis.
This role focuses on hands-on data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution across platforms such as QuickBooks, Salesforce, JIRA, the company’s internally developed operations and inventory systems, and SAP as it is implemented and becomes a core system of record.
This is an individual contributor role that works closely with Sales, Operations, Logistics, Service, Accounting/Finance, and IT to support accurate reporting, effective processes, and scalable system usage.

Key Responsibilities
Data Accuracy & Reconciliation
- Review and validate data input by other business partners across core business systems, including QuickBooks, Salesforce, JIRA, and internal operations systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Investigate discrepancies in core business systems when discovered
- Perform routine audits to ensure cleanliness and accuracy of data
- Identify patterns and root causes of recurring issues
- Correct issues directly or coordinate with system owners to resolve them
- Support SAP implementation
- Verify that medical aesthetic devices purchased and sold are accurately recorded by make, model, year, and serial number across sales, inventory, and accounting records
- Support device traceability by ensuring serial number accuracy for purchased, sold, serviced, and returned medical aesthetic devices
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Logistics, Service, Accounting/Finance, and IT to resolve system-related data issues
- Assist with data cleanup during process changes, system updates, or integrations
- Assist with testing and validation during the SAP implementation and post-go-live period
- Help train team members on correct system usage and data entry standards
- Reinforce new and existing processes as the business grows and evolves
- Create and maintain clear documentation, guides, and reference materials
- Act as a go-to resource for questions related to system data and workflows
- Generate reports and checks to identify data inconsistencies or gaps
- Monitor for anomalies that could impact financials, operations, logistics, sales reporting, or service delivery
- Proactively flag and escalate data issues that could affect decision-making
- 1–4 years of experience working with business systems or operational data
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured data
- Experience with accounting systems, CRM tools, or operational software
- Ability to follow data across multiple systems and understand end-to-end workflows
- Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
- Experience with QuickBooks, Salesforce, JIRA, or similar platforms
- Strong Excel skills to evaluate data and detect issues
- Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience supporting growing teams or scaling processes
- Leadership and teams trust real-time operational and financial data
- Data issues are identified early and resolved at the root cause
- New hires are trained on correct system usage quickly and consistently
- Business decisions are supported by accurate, reliable data as the company scales
