What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Buyer position at PowerPak Civil & Safety LLC?
PowerPak is growing quickly and we have a Senior Buyer position to fill.
Pay: $75,000 to $95,000 annual salary
Full Time Position, working 5 days a week out of our Rockland County NY Office
Responsibilities of the Role
- Maintain inventory levels and perform inventory analysis on select Locations.
- Calculate correct order quantities according to inventory specifications.
- Place purchase orders when needed.
- Handle and reconcile receiving and invoice issues.
- Coordinate and reconcile vendor return issues with the Quality and Marketing departments.
- Work with freight carriers to assure on-time delivery.
- Complete reports and special projects.
- Develop and maintain good vendor relations.
- Expedite deliveries on selected products.
You must have three years success in a buyer role and be proficient in Excel.
- Proficient in Excel
- Minimum 2 years with a B2B organization
Prior experience procuring Industrial Supplies is helpful but not required.
