LPN – CVI - Assisted Living at Hartsfield Village (Powers Health)

SHIFT:

Full-time/Part-time: 7:00am - 3:30pm (includes every other weekend and holidays)

Areas of Responsibility:

• Must know all aspects of basic personal care, medication administration, treatment procedures, as well as preventive, restorative and therapeutic techniques.
• Knowledge of medical asepsis and sterile technique.
• Must have interest in and be able to communicate effectively with aged and ill residents with variety of chronic illnesses or emotional disorders.
• Also able to communicate effectively with visitors, supervisor and co-workers.
• Able to work under direct supervision of Lead Charge Nurse. Able to maintain confidentiality of resident condition and personal affairs. Basic business computer knowledge preferred.

Qualifications and Experience:

• LPN licensed to practice in the State of Indiana
• State approved medication course
• CPR card
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

ASSISTED LIVING

Assisted Living is ideal for individuals who require some help with life's everyday tasks. The Hartsfield Village Assisted Living apartments licensed by the State of Indiana have nursing presence 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, to assist with the activities of daily living.  This is provided in a residential setting that is beautiful to the eye as well as the spirit.
