As our caseload continues to grow, we are actively seeking a reliable and proactive Paralegal to join our team. This is a crucial role that will involve working closely with two attorneys on various litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with attorneys in all phases of personal injury and medical malpractice litigation, including case management, drafting legal documents, and conducting legal research.
• Manage ordering of medical, imaging, and billing records.
• Review medical records and create chronologies.
• Assist in the preparation and organization of trial materials, exhibits, and documentation.
• Coordinate and manage communication with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, including electronic records and physical documents.
• Conduct factual investigations, gather evidence, and assist in the development of case strategies.
• Schedule mediations and depositions.
• Negotiate and settle liens.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Paralegal, preferably in personal injury or medical malpractice.
• Proficiency in legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing trial materials.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining case files and documentation.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in using legal software and tools for research and case management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
