Scope of Work
- Contractor must possess at least twelve (12) years of professional, hands-on experience in the information technology field as a project or program manager, with a Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- At the time of application, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
- Oversee information technology projects of the highest sensitivity and complexity
- Execute project plans and revise as authorized to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Evaluate the goals, risks and constraints of projects to determine the most efficient and effective project management methodology (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid) to follow.
- Assist stakeholders with identifying and documenting business problems and project goals through the completion of business cases.
- Facilitate communication, conflict resolution and decision-making processes among multiple stakeholders and proactively remove barriers.
- Ensure project needs and objectives are clearly communicated and teams have all necessary information and resources to complete tasks.
- Adhere to the defined EPM governance process.
- Maintain documentation that reflects any changes to scope, timelines, milestones and deliverables.
- Translate and document conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements and user stories in a clear and comprehensive manner.
- Proactively keep stakeholders and senior management abreast of the status of projects and have the ability to respond to status requests on demand.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies.
