Boat Testing Facilitator – PPG Testing, Inc., Solomons, MD
Reports to: Boat Testing Manager
Location: PPG Boat Testing Facility at the Calvert Marina in Solomons, MD.
Work Hours: 7:00am – 3:30 pm for 2-3 days/week
Pay: $15.00/hr.
Part time position – Government contract work
Essential Duties: (others may be assigned)
· Work with Boat Testing Facility Manager to test recreational craft for manufacturers
· Learn testing procedures and assist with paperwork and reporting functions pre and post testing activities
Requirements:
· Familiar with the marine industry- recreational boating
. Mechanical ability (a plus but not required)
· Computer skills
· Fork lift operator (a plus but not required)
· Former
or Retired Military (a plus but not required)
· Ability to lift 50 lbs throughout the day and be physically active on your feet all day
· Solid work ethic
