Job Description
Chemical Batch Maker -PPI Tech is seeking a skilled Batcher with experience working with Epoxy and Polyurethane. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately measuring and mixing raw materials to produce high-quality products used in our manufacturing processes. The Batcher will operate machinery associated with the batching process and maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
Responsibilities
- Measure and mix raw materials, including Epoxy and Polyurethane, following established formulas and procedures.
- Operate machinery used in the batching process of Epoxy and Polyurethane products, including scales, mixers, and pumps.
- Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to produce accurate and consistent batches.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while always following safety protocols and procedures when working with hazardous materials.
- Maintain accurate records of each batch, including amounts of raw materials used and batch numbers.
- Assist with inventory control by monitoring and reporting on raw material levels.
- Properly label and identify the appropriate containers for the packaging of finished products.
- Package finished goods in the appropriate containers following all given instructions and requirements.
- Appropriately identify, palletize, and store the finished goods, and to document their location.
Requirements and Skills
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform our Chemical Batch Maker job.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience batching Epoxy and Polyurethane (Prefered)
- Ability to operate Forklift and Pallet Jack
- Strong knowledge of machinery typically used in the batch process.
- Must be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in the batch process
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as batch sheets and production schedules
- Must be comfortable working with hazardous materials
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- High School Diploma/GED
Required:
- Valid Driver’s License/State issued ID Card

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
