Position Summary: As a team member, you will conduct detailed background investigations by gathering and reviewing records, interviewing references, and compiling information for comprehensive reporting. The work schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 9am to 6pm, shifting to 10am to 7pm during nuclear hiring season (late January to mid April and late August to mid October).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough background investigations for each element required.
- Interview candidates, references, and other relevant sources to verify information.
- Ensure all work is done in accordance with strict guidelines and company policies.
- Correctly document information obtained from references, employers, and educational institutions.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma at a minimum;
- Extremely reliable with solid transportation. Reliable childcare with backup sources planned in advance (especially during heavy work periods);
- Ability to drive in mild inclement weather;
- Internet savvy with neat/legible handwriting is a must;
- Good telephone speaking skills;
- Ability to work on individual tasks while being aware of surroundings (jumping in to help fellow investigators, answer the phone, and easily return back to your task at hand is imperative for success in this role);
- Ability to work Monday - Friday, 9am to 6pm. The schedule will shift to 10am to 7pm with some Saturday mornings (9am to 1pm - overtime) during nuclear hiring season (late January to mid April and late August to mid October).
