POSITION SUMMARY

Perform a combination of cleaning duties to maintain hotel rooms in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include the following:

Hiring for Full or Part time 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Shifts will include weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
• Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other guest and work areas so that health standards are met.
• Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
• Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
• Sweep, scrub, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing machines.
• Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses.
• Clean and adjust draperies as needed, and dust window blinds.
• Polish silver accessories and metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.
• Collects or receives and segregates, counts, and records number of items of soiled linen and uniforms for repair or laundry, sorts and places them in assigned containers. Load washing machines, fold and put away dried items.
• Sort, count, and mark clean linens and store them in linen closets.
• Deliver television sets, ironing boards, baby cribs, and rollaway beds to guests' rooms.
• Assign duties to other staff and give instructions regarding work methods and routines.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Must thoroughly understand the PECR Bloodborne Pathogen Procedures and be able to perform the cleaning duties as it pertains to Bloodborne Pathogens according to established regulations and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

Newly increased starting wages for every position!
