What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant - Clinic position at Pratt Regional Medical Center?
Job Summary: Assist office practice which includes duties such as: rooming patients, obtaining vitals, reviewing patient health history, filing in patient chart, assisting physician with minor office procedures, managing patient phone calls, scheduling patient procdures and tests, obtaining precertification of insurance when needed and other clerical aspects of the job relating to clinical practice.
Job Qualifications: High school diploma or its equivalent. Knowledge of basic vitals, clerical skills such as filing, typing, and basic computer skills. Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks quickly and efficiently. Ability to work well with others, and to have good personal skills and caring with the patients is a must. CNA or Medical Assistant certification desired.
