Scope:

CNC Lathe Operator Pre-Tech is looking for a 2nd shift CNC Lathe Operator to run machine(s) after set-up by area supervisor, lead person, and/or a set-up person on 2nd shift in our Williston, VT location.

Responsibilities:

• Assure all product manufactured meets drawing, quality, and procedural requirements.
• Verify product quality by completing in process inspections.
• Visually verify all product satisfies workmanship requirements.
• Assures compliance with job specifications by inspecting parts using micrometers, verniers, gages and/or other measuring devices including CMM, Vision System and bench inspection.

Skills/Requirements:

• Knowledge and skill to operate equipment correctly and effectively.
• A Knowledge and ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to use various measurement and inspection devices.
• Uses SPC to monitor process control and product conformance.
• Follows Standard Operating Procedures and complies with AS 9100 requirements.
• Performs preventative daily machine and workstation maintenance.
• Follows all safety requirements including use of PPE when required.
• 1 year CNC Machinist/Operator preferred. Wiling to train the right candidate!

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Prior Machinist/Operator experience.
• Willing to train the right individuals.

Shift Availability:

• Second shift-Monday through Thursday 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM (10-hour shift).
• Posting for Williston, VT.
