Major Tool & Machine is looking to add a competent and accomplished NDT Technician to our team. As a member of our quality inspection team, this role will execute non-destructive testing (NDT) operations, as described in the Manufacturing Routing, on time and within the length of time estimated for the operation. Actual results in the form of work center efficiencies and non-conformances will be compared to the goals to evaluate whether the goal has been achieved. Our technicians are expected to maintain a neat, clean, orderly work area and to operate in a safe manner.

Duties:
- Support the assignments given to them by the NDT Team Leader and perform NDT operations and complete associated documentation
- Apply the requirements of the Quality System in performance of daily assignments
- Report any anomalies (nonconformances, time overruns, accidents) to the NDT Team Leader
- Manage time responsibly, assist team members with technical support, maintain the work area (cleanliness, organization, etc.), and take part in team meetings.
Job Qualification Requirements:
- Educational requirements: high school diploma, education in trade school, vocational education, or apprenticeship.
- Certifications Required: A candidate with training hours and practical experience hours per the requirements of SNT-TC-1A for methods of: Visual testing (VT); Magnetic particle (MT); Penetrant testing (PT); Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Some combination of these certifications is acceptable, with LT strongest preference.
- Must be a competent NDT Technician possessing math, communication, and computer skills.
