Childcare Provider

We are seeking a Child Care/Day Care Teacher Assistant to promote healthy, intellectual, and psychological growth of the children in our home/center. You will teach and supervise them while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination. :-)

Responsibilities

• Follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material
• Balance your teaching between logical and social exercises
• Provide basic care and caregiving activities
• Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the child’s abilities
• Evaluate children’s performance to make sure they are on the right learning track
• Remain in communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children
• Observe children’s interactions and promote a cooperative spirit
• Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action
• Collaborate with other staff
• Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources

Requirements

• Proven experience as a child care / daycare teacher
• Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods
• Methodical and creative
• Patience, flexibility, passionate, and love for children
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Very dependable, forward thinker, approachable, readily prepared, team player & strong work ethic
• Able to pass CPS background check & fingerprints
• Ability to teach children to be loving & independent individuals
• Keep children & environment clean/healthy
• Willingness to complete all state & center mandatory training

*Wages are based upon experience/education. Several additional benefits are offered, including bonus pay & paid holidays. Our hours are from 7A.M.-5:15P.M., Monday-Friday and closed on holidays. We look forward to hearing from you and have a fun filled day! ;-)
