Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will support daily operations, assist in managing projects from start to finish, and ensure quality and performance goals are met.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Manager in planning, organizing, and directing construction projects.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Assist in preparing project budgets, estimates, schedules, and other project documentation.
- Utilize construction management software such as Viewpoint TEAM, ProCore, E-Builder, Project Sight, and the B2W Operational Suite for efficient project tracking and reporting.
- Perform design markups and takeoffs using Bluebeam.
- Support project-related workflows using Trimble Business Center.
- Support implementation of safety protocols and quality control measures on-site.
- Identify and help resolve conflicts or challenges during the construction process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam for design markups and takeoffs.
- Familiarity with construction processes, including building codes, contracts, and regulations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with project scheduling, estimating, and time management.
- Familiarity with construction software: Viewpoint TEAM, ProCore, E-Builder, Project Sight, B2W Operational Suite, and Trimble Business Center.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required).
