What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistician position at Precise Systems?
Precise Systems is a professional services company currently working for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Air Force. Our core competencies include acquisition and lifecycle support, advanced engineering, software solutions, security and technical services. We were founded in 1990, and since our establishment, we have been providing cutting edge solutions and support to our warfighters. We understand and provide expert consultation on network and weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs.
We are currently seeking a Logistician to support our customer in Crane, Indiana. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as possess the following education and experience:
- Update and maintain system technical documentation for airborne systems and subsystems
- Coordinate with system subject matter experts to analyze redline changes, record fleet actions, and support the generation of revised instructions
- Support the review and verification of technical documentation including work packages, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Technical Directives (TDs), Notice of Revisions (NORs), Maintenance Plans, (MaPLs), Document Change Orders (DCOs), and Document Change Notices (DCNs) to determine impacts on the fielded systems
- Research support equipment parts and assemblies and ensure all are in accordance with all publication packages
- Input and maintain data in multiple data repositories including iPDM
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Experience:
- Three (3) years of professional experience in integrated logistics support
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
