We are searching for a Systems Engineering Integration Team (SEIT) Deputy Analyst to support the Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office (PMA-262) in Patuxent River, Maryland.
Functional Description: Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in oversight and management of systems engineering processes in PMA-262.
- Assist in the execution of the Engineering/Data Requirements Agreement Plan (EDRAP) process to ensure that appropriate airworthiness artifacts are reviewed/approved to support the class desk in the issuance of a flight clearance.
- Assist in managing staffing and budgeting of extended SEIT teams.
- Participate in the development of systems engineering artifacts required for a request for proposal and evaluate proposers' systems engineering artifacts in proposals.
- Assist in maintaining and executing the PMA-262 Systems Engineering Plan (SEP) and overseeing the execution of the prime vendor Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).
- Participate in regular interactions with SEITs and other system engineers from the Prime contractor and other government direct vendors Since PMA-262 is the Lead Systems Integrator of Triton, assist in ensuring that the PMA-262 team and their direct vendors execute systems engineering processes to the same level of integrity as required of the prime vendor.
- Assisting the PMA-262 SEIT with technical reviews, requirements verification, CDRLs, and other data, and making a determination of the applicability of technical comments provided by SMEs during document reviews.
- Assisting the PMA-262 SEIT in the collection, organization, distribution, and interpretation of technical data relating to system test and evaluation, including both Government and Vendor SMEs. Assisting with the coordination of SETR events, including tailoring and scoring of SETR checklists, development of agenda and event coordination, and development of related briefing materials.
Required Education - MA/MS Degree or allowable substitutions. A bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years of additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree. An Associate's Degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree. Six (6) years of additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree.
Required Experience - Over ten years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
