JOB DESCRIPTION:
DIVERSIFY CNC MACHINE OPERATOR
POSITION
He or she must possess the following:
- Set up and operate numeric or computer numeric controlled machine performing boring, milling, drilling, reaming and tapping operations on various castings, steels and alloys. Inspect parts/components for close tolerances on initial set-up run and periodically during production runs utilizing a variety of precision measuring instruments for conformity to rigid specifications.
- Operate effectively and safely the following tools/equipment
a) Hand held tools and power tools such as: grinders, compressors, tape measure, calipers, drills, saws and cutting equipment.
b) Overhead and Jib Cranes
c) Forklifts
d) Drill Presses
e) As well as other equipment/machinery that management may purchase.
- Ability to lift and/or maneuver parts/components that could weigh in excess of 75 lbs.
- Ability to assist in the production process of assembling/fitting, cutting, bending, and/or other process of manufacturing. Including the ability to interpret and understand production drawings/blueprints and follow necessary procedures to produce in accordance with such documents.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- To perform other duties and task that maybe from time to time directed by management.'
