PCC is seeking a motivated and detailed oriented Contract Administrator I to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in contract management within the defense industry, with a strong understanding of government regulations and compliance requirements. A willingness to be a leader in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential to supporting the execution of contracts with our customers and ensuring compliance with all requirements and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and oversee the administration of complex contracts, including negotiation, execution, and compliance.
· Ensure all contracts are in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and government regulations.
· Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
· Provide guidance and support to entry level Contract Administrators and other team members.
· Prepare and review contract documents, amendments, and modifications.
· Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prepare claims, formal quotations, work statements, cost breakdowns and contract schedules for changes in work scope; negotiate these change proposals with customers for acceptance.
· Monitor contract performance and ensure all deliverables are met on-time within requirements.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and government agencies.
· Stay current with industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact contract management.
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, or equivalent specialized training, knowledge, and experience. Advanced degrees in a relevant field of study is preferred.
Qualifications:
· Five (5) to ten (10) years of work experience in general business or contract-related field within the defense industry
· In-depth knowledge of contract principles, Uniform Commercial Code, and FARS/DFARS
· Proven experience to successfully manage complex contracts and negotiations
· Excellent computer skills, understanding of contract management software, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Required)
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills for a team environment
· US Citizenship at time of hire
