Operation System Tech 1

Precision Hydraulic Cylinders is looking for an Operations System Tech 1 to join the Industrial Engineering team. The Operations System Tech's duties would be to learn, develop, and maintain the NoMuda Visual Factory software to support manufacturing operations of all value streamlines at the production plant. Support the industrial engineering team with digitization and paperless documentation solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and develop expertise for the NoMuda Visual Factory software.
• Implement and maintain the NoMuda software throughout the plant (training will be provided).
• Generate high-level reports for Visual Factory and create and/or update technical documentation.
• Coordinate with the NoMuda developers to make changes in references, tasks, and/or routes.
• Identify and fix bugs in Visual Factory software as they arise.
• Maintain requirements for Visual Factory licensing throughout the plant.
• Provide training to operators for using Visual Factory software on the shop floor.
• Learn and develop expertise for Visual Infor (ERP System), where applicable, and train new employees.
• Support operation and process flow improvement activities.
• Support the structuring and maintenance of the manufacturing Process Change Requests (PCR) workflows.
• Perform Continuous Improvement activities and other duties to support the needs of the business.

Requirements:

• Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills and communication.
• Experience working with SharePoint, HTML, Java scripts, and google docs.
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
• Experience working in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to prioritize daily work as per department needs.
• Ability to work independently and closely follow directions.
• Ability to learn and use Visual Factory software, Visual Information
