Essential Job Functions:
- Obtain patient medical history before exams.
- Follow physician imaging protocols with accuracy.
- Explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Position patients correctly using immobilization devices.
- Operate X-ray machines and monitor image quality.
- Evaluate X-ray images for accuracy and determine if repeats are needed.
- Assist radiologists with arthrograms as required.
- Provide support for other imaging modalities as needed.
Qualifications:
- ARRT(R) certified
- BLS certified
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of medical terminology and radiologic procedures
- Venipuncture skills preferred
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management
- Team player with flexibility to adapt as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
