What are the responsibilities and job description for the NDT Field Technician (Assistant) position at Precision NDT LLC?
The NDT Assistant will assist NDT Technicians in performing specific calibrations, specific Nondestructive Tests, and specific
evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations.
• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Assist NDT Technicians in the calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist NDT Technicians conduct test to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of
inspection.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist Technicians in performing NDT procedures and other operations.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
