What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kit Assembler position at Precision Replacement Parts?
Responsibilities include:
- Operate a wireless scan gun to fill orders
- Cut bulk materials to specified length
- Locate and pick component parts per kit order
- Inspect kit components for visible defects and follow quality assurance processes if there are deviations
- Gather packaging materials and package kit items according to specifications and include any instructions needed per kit order
- Label component parts and finished kits
- Stock finished kit products in the correct pick locations
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize job duties and have a keen sense of attention to detail
