Precision Science, Inc (based in Phoenix, Arizona) is seeking a highly driven individual to join our growing company in the capacity of Facility Maintenance Technician. Precision Science is a leader in the manufacturing of FDA/EPA regulated products within the animal healthcare industry, including powders, pellets, and extruded products.
KEY DUTIES OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provides general and detailed maintenance (either with direct or indirect supervision),
including patching, painting, hardware repairs and other repair/replacement work as
required.
· Ensure required and preventative maintenance and repairs are completed, as necessary.
· Help solve problems related to maintenance
· Suggest continuous improvement projects
· Respect safety standards of the company and maintain a clean work environment.
· Ensure all safety rules and safe work procedures such as Lockout/Tag out, Confined Space, PPE are followed by themselves and by others working in and around the machinery
· Respond quickly to address downtime issues promptly and effectively

Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Regular Hours 8am – 4:30pm M-F.
· Arrive on time for shift as scheduled
· Overtime: As needed by the department
· Down time: If there is down time in the maintenance department, it is your responsibility to seek work from your manager.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
· May be required to frequently lift to 50 pounds at a time and more.
· Hand dexterity and strength.
ESSENTIAL ABILITIES:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Minimum 3 years of experience in a hands-on facility maintenance role
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
· Knowledge of SDS, HACCP and cGMP
· Experience working with regulatory agencies (e.g. OSHA, AIB, FDA, EPA)
Salary : $18 - $21
