What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pilates Instructor position at Precision Sculpt Pilates?
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Pilates classes for individuals or groups, ensuring a safe and effective workout
- Design and implement Pilates programs tailored to the needs and goals of clients
- Provide guidance and education on proper form, technique, and modifications
- Assist clients in setting realistic fitness goals and tracking progress
- Maintain a clean and organized studio environment
- Promote Pilates classes and services to attract new clients
Classes to cover Tuesdays 8:30 am and 9:30 am and 1 Saturday per month, 9 am-11 am.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pilates Instructor
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics related to Pilates exercises
- Proficiency in teaching various Pilates techniques, including mat work and equipment-based exercises
- Experience in program design and progression for clients of different fitness levels
- Ability to educate clients on the benefits of Pilates and promote its integration into their overall fitness routine
- Additional experience or certifications in personal training, kickboxing, dance, CrossFit, or fitness sales is a plus
