Precision Security Team is a veteran owned and operated company in the northern Colorado area. We service areas from Denver, CO to Cheyenne, WY. As an Armed Security Officer with Precision Security Team, you will assist with all security-related concerns and other requests as needed to ensure a safe environment for the public at your assigned site. Every Security Officer at Precision Security Team owns the client's experience and their bottom line. It is of the utmost importance to uphold Precision Security Team’s professional image to the client, the public, and law enforcement at all times. This position would be flexing for three different positions. The anticipated schedule would be 12:00 am-8:00 am consistently on Tuesdays in Fort Collins, 6:00 pm-6:00 am Saturday and Sunday as needed in Fort Collins and Wellington, and at another site as needed in Berthoud, hours to be determined. As his position is a flex position, you will not be guaranteed a full 40 hours per week. You are guaranteed eight hours on Tuesdays, but other positions will be on an as-needed basis. All of the positions will be swing and overnight positions to ensure a consistent sleep schedule.
Due to specific client requirements, officers assigned to three of the four primary sites must adhere to a clean-shaven grooming policy. This standard is set to ensure professional appearance and compliance with contractual obligations. Candidates should be willing and able to meet this requirement to be eligible for assignments at these designated sites.
Critical Roles of the Position:
- Armed Security Certification: Must demonstrating proficiency in handling and operating a firearm safely and responsibly. Familiarity with firearm safety protocols, local laws, and best practices for armed security is required. Prior experience with professional pistol handling in a security, law enforcement, or military setting is strongly preferred. Since officers in this role carry a firearm for professional and contractual purposes, familiarity with weapon maintenance, secure holstering, and responsible use in various scenarios is essential. Candidates with a background in defensive tactics and situational awareness are highly valued.
- Clean Driving Record: Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving history. Candidates should demonstrate responsible driving habits, as the role may involve patrolling or responding to incidents in a company-provided vehicle. Candidates must be comfortable driving in inclement weather and winter conditions.
- Computer Proficiency: Comfortable with basic computer tasks, including report writing, logging incident data, and using security software systems. Experience with email, word processing, and security tracking software is preferred.
- Flexible Schedule (Overnight/Swing Shifts): Able to work non-traditional hours, including overnight shifts and swing shifts. Flexibility in scheduling is crucial, as this position requires adaptability to varying shift needs, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Exhibits strong observational skills and is highly detail-oriented. Must be able to thoroughly assess situations, identify potential threats, and ensure accurate reporting for incident documentation.

Pay: This position pays $23.00/hour. This is a W2 position. Employees who work 30 or more hours a week are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, and accident insurance. Colorado is an at-will employment state.
