We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Shipping Verifier/Auditor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying and auditing boxes to be shipped to ensure accuracy and quality. This position is ideal for mature individuals or retired professionals who are looking to stay active and contribute to a vital part of our quality process.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit and verify the accuracy of contents in shipping boxes against order invoices with the use of a tablet.
Ensure all items are correctly labeled, packed, and prepared for shipping.
Identify and report/log any discrepancies or damaged goods.
Maintain accurate records of audits and verifications.
Collaborate with leadership to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols in non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Mature and reliable, with a strong work ethic.
Retired individuals are highly encouraged to apply.
Reliable transportation.
Work Environment:
Warehouse environment, not climate-controlled.
Slow paced.
