Prelude Services is seeking a Director of HR to join its leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this integral position leads and directs the daily operation and functions of the HR Department within these primary areas of concentration: Recruitment/Retention/Engagement, Administrative/Compliance, Benefits Administration, and Thought Leadership. The successful candidate will be a seasoned human resources professional with experience and expertise in a variety of functional areas, including recruitment, onboarding, compensation, employee relations, benefit administration, workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation, training, performance management and policy development and administration.
As a member of the Leadership Team, the Director of HR collaborates with leadership to advance the organization's goals and strategy through staffing, recruiting, and retention. They plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.

Requirements for the Director of HR:
- At least 5 years of Human resource management experience required.
- SHRM-CP or similar Human Resource Management certification preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, along with the ability to learn HRIS (Paylocity)
- Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusion, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Ability to form and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
