The Business Development Representative covers the entire County of San Diego, conducting marketing & direct sales activities to hospital, urgent cares, clinics, acute rehabilitation centers & post-acute skilled nurse centers. Over 90% of the job duties require travel in San Diego County & direct interaction at client sites.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Business Development & promotion of our ambulance service to health care facilities.
- Monitoring call volume generated from activities
- Custom service & advocacy for our client
- Follow-up & constant marketing via digital media programs
- Support of local operation business activities (recruiting, promotion events, community events, etc.)
- Establish and maintain business relationships with clients and community organizations
- Collaborate with leadership team on volume trends, staffing models and business initiatives
- Promote and enhance the organization’s brand in the community
Skills & knowledge requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Strong, vibrant communicator
- Self-starter & organizer
- Good understanding & abilities in Microsoft Office suite of software
- Strong knowledge of using social media platforms as a business tool
- Emotional intelligence
- Health care or ambulance industry experienced required
