What are the responsibilities and job description for the LVN CHARGE NURSE position at Premier BH?

LVN Charge Nurse Part Time

Shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm

Pay range from $28- $32/hr Depending on experience

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your position is to direct nursing care to the residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.


Education/Certification:

  • Minimum of H.S. degree or equivalent.
  • Long-Term care experience preferably in a sub-acute setting
  • Current Licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse by the State of California.
  • Must be certified in CPR.
  • IV certification.
  • Must maintain current licensure in good standing during employment with this facility in accordance to the State Board
