Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Photographer/Videographer to join our marketing team. This role is essential in representing our products authentically through high-quality photography and informative videos. You will be responsible for creating product photos, lifestyle imagery, and various video content that highlights our products' features and benefits. This position requires a creative eye, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of our mission to drive engagement and sales through visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality product photos for both digital and print materials, including lifestyle and product photos.
- Develop informative and engaging product videos, including studio-based explanations and dynamic B-roll.
- Plan, coordinate, product, and edit video shoots for ad videos, product launch promos, and story-based media.
- Collaborate with and support the social media team to execute video content that aligns with the marketing and content calendars, as well as social media trends.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives like product launches and monthly sales, with creative ideas and solutions.
- Edit photos and videos to match the company's brand aesthetic and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or certificate program in Digital Media, Film, Photography, or related area and 1-2 years of appropriate experience; a combination of education and experience may be used.
- Familiarity with appropriate computer programs and other tools of the trade is essential, including, but not limited to, DaVinci editing software and a variety of camera brands (Sony, Canon, Black Magic).
- Familiarity with the gun industry and knowledge of body armor to accurately and authentically create compelling visual media are highly preferred.
- Experience in e-commerce photography and videography.
- Proficiency in video/photo production skills such as lighting and sound recording.
- Proficiency in post-production skills such as color grading and audio editing.
- Ability to work closely with marketing team members, managing projects from concept to completion.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and project management skills, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strength in determining a creative direction, ability to conceptualize and pitch video projects.
- Ability to storyboard, secure models and locations, and coordinate with team members for photo and video shoots.
- Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.
