What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flatwork Concrete Laborer position at Premier Concrete Construction, LLC?
Premier Concrete Construction, LLC is looking for highly motivated and dependable Concrete Laborers for our Flatwork Division... Prior experience is NOT required! However, someone that has also worked within Construction or Carpentry could easily transfer those skills into this role!
*Shop is located in Wilton, NH. You'll meet the crew at the shop and ride in a company truck to the jobsites*
Job overview:
- Work as part of a team to prepare slabs for pouring
- Learn to read/interpret plans for flatwork, including reinforcing steel
- Learn all aspects of pouring operations: operating hoses, vibrators, raking and screeding, etc
- In future, willing to learn the finishing operations: handwork, operation of power trowels, and saw-cutting for control joints (these will come with time and training)
- This is a physical and sometimes difficult industry/job. Qualifications:
- Ability to work as part of a team- this is our #1 hiring requirement!
- Must be dependable- showing up when scheduled and on time is necessary
- Willingness and ability to learn and progress while taking direction
- Driver’s license and/or reliable transportation to and from the shop
- Prior employer references
- Able to pass background check
