We have a full-time opportunity for someone looking to join a busy, well-respected healthcare team overseen by a board-certified Dermatologist. Work day-time clinic hours with weekends off, holidays paid, and an opportunity for growth and competitive compensation!
Principle Duties: The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients upon arrival, answering phones, making appointments, and serving as a point of contact for general administrative questions. S/he will also be responsible for entering patient demographics and insurance information into the Practice Management System and EMR, verifying insurance information, collecting co-payments and maintaining the general appearance of the waiting room. They are to obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting co-payments; collect revenue for cosmetic sales.
The medical receptionist is expected to maintain confidentiality of personal and financial information.
They should contribute to the overall team effort!

Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. S/he will ideally have at least one year of experience working as a Medical Receptionist in a physician’s office and be willing to work well with others. S/he must be able to type and have basic Microsoft Office knowledge. Applicant must be friendly and welcoming and be able to multi-task.
Physical Demands: Physical movement in filing, pulling some patient documents, bending, typing (data entry), walking, occasional heavy lifting (up to 30 lbs).
Work Environment: This position will involve working in a busy and somewhat noisy environment. There may be times of stress due to high demand of services with patients in the office and phone calls.
