- Dialysis Nurse oversees hemodialysis treatments in accordance with approved facility policies and procedures.
- Ensures that Infection control is in compliance with CMS/CDC.
- Ensured dialysis machines are set up according to physician prescription.
- Monitors the patient during dialysis, assessing any emergent changes in the patient's condition and communicating any issues to the physician as well as the patient's family.
- Dialysis Nurse Administers all prescribed dialysis medications.
- Ensures that all assigned primary patients receive quality care.
- Provides patient education to primary patients
- Dialysis Registered Nurse completes Monthly charting and Care-plans for all primary patients.
- Dialysis Registered Nurse must have a degree from an accredited Nursing Program is required.
- Must possess and maintain a current license in the state of Indiana.
- Previous dialysis experience preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Maintains current CPR certification.
- Applicant must have excellent communication skills and a demonstrated high level of clinical excellence.
